Why ShieldIELTS?

Hi, I'm Christopher Choi, an IELTS instructor in South Korea.


Actually, my major is law so there was a time that I prepared for working at the bar.
But who knows? Life is not that easy-going. I realize that early.

Lawyers are noble and wonderful jobs I should admit that. However, it's not for me.
It's too boring to put up with all the workload. But I know I'm a very creative person.
While working at a law firm, I felt I hate my life.
I can definitely and clearly say that it's so obvious but I just didn't want to see at that time. It seemed like my heart just stops beating.

To make the long story short, I finally realize how short life is.
So, if I can design mine, I want the best.
The ideal life is not about money but all about adventure. I'm thrilled by all the possibilities I have. And I enjoy the journey not just a consequence.

So, I'm still following my heart and intuition. Especially, teaching English is crazily fun for me.
It's enjoyable. That's right. It's enjoyable indeed!



It's like a privilege that I can watch the students grow up mentally and academically.
I'm proud of the fact that I can help them get higher goals.

There is a stone on my desk, carved with one of the greatest phrases.

"Carpe Diem! (Seize the moment!)"





To recap, I'm an IELTS expert, a writer and an entrepreneur.
I'm excited about my life every day simply because it's a great adventure, not just a money-making path.

I do believe that English can make the world better.
Because it can help people communicate with each other.
In essence, I do want to help you out.


In many ways, English can protect you.

So it's ShieldIELTS.

IELTS as a shield in other countries.


Finally, I know for sure you can do it if you keep trying.
Keep trying. Never give up.
You can make it.

Hello guys! If you take the IELTS test, you should go over the Cambridge Official materials. But as you know it oddly doesn't offer enough explanation about why it is the answer or not.
